FAQs

General questions

An EKG sensor, a charge stand, several antennas(depends on the field) and a set of PC.

Generally, HR2000 is suitable for any kind of normal ward and some semi-acute ward such as ER, cardiac ward, etc. Because every hospitalized patient needs quality care.

HR2000 is a patient-centered care device. Patient in ICU usually has many life-support and monitoring devices. However, patients in normal ward have no protection but regular rounds by clinicians. In fact, most of the unexpected event happens outside the ICU. Therefore, HR2000 is to protect patients from these potentially risk. Furthermore, the extreme light design allows patients can leave the bed and start rehabilitation earlier.

Because of the extreme light design, the disposable ECG electrodes can fix the device safely without any other support.

HR2000 uses chargeable lithium battery with super low power consumption, a three-hour full charge can be used for 7 days 24/7.

HR2000 is a single lead EKG that can monitor Lead I, II or III depends on the position of electrodes.

Every charging stand can charge 12 sensors simultaneously.

The sensor has IP-X7 level(soak level) of waterproof and drop resistant from 90cm height.

Any brand. Basically, HR2000 just uses patient monitor electrodes.

BST has special transmission module that can be external or built-in to gather other third-party monitoring devices as long as the customers provide UART interface and data protocol.

It doesn’t effect pacemaker, and the HR2000 can also gather pacemaker EKG.

Agent related questions

One lead wire for a device and 2 disposable ECG electrode for single use.

HR2000 uses 920~925MHz(depends on country) frequency band to transmit, which is very different with general 2.4GHz transmission, so no interference issue. But, if there is interference in 920~925MHz, HR2000 can always change to another frequency band.

Clinician related questions

The PC monitor as a central monitor can show every patient’s data. HR200 can also synchronize the display to mobile devices and clinical cart as needed.

HR2000 system has its own history page for each patient to track their EKG and vital sign trend. It can trace patients’ data since their first admission.

Theoretically each antenna can cover 100-meter light-of-sight range, but the concrete wall between rooms can interference the transmission. Therefore, the setting range is 2 to 3 room per antenna usually.

Hospital Manager related questions

HR2000 uses an unique lightweight data format to minimize the data size. Give an example, 500GB hard drive can store 12 patients’ TPR and ECG data for 3 years. Namely, 1.1MB/hr/patient.

Through HL7 protocol.

One year of warranty. Most of the troubleshooting can be done through internet. If it’s physical damage of the sensor that can not be fixed through internet, customers can ship the broken one to exchange an alternative until we manually fix the original one and ship it back.

Customer needs to provide the space to set the central station and LAN wiring for 1~2 weeks.

There is always a tradeoff. It is definitely easier to lost this sensor than other giant sensor/monitor due to its lightweight design. However, the HR2000 system has a lost warning and timer when the sensor is out of the range, so the clinician can trace. In addition, BST can also build a siren at each exit for additional lost warning.
